Looking forward to this one… How is everyone getting on with working from home? My question to Emilie is how do you keep yourself from making the dreaded multiple trips to the kitchen and the fridge?

Hi Ayo, Thank you for your question, we’re looking forward to answering everyone’s work from home questions this evening!
Snacking is a tough one, it is so tempting right now just to graze. Firstly try and set some specific meal times for breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. If you feel like a snack but you’re 30 minutes off your allotted snack time then have a drink of water, or dilute fruit juice or a herbal or green tea instead.
The other tip is to have a ‘healthy snack menu’ so if you want a snack you can’t go for the biscuits or crisps, instead have a few options you can choose from but they are all healthy. High carb snacks are way too tempting and easy to over consume, so try some options higher in fibre and protein:
– a handful of mixed nuts
– some vegetable crudites with some hummus
– a piece of fruit, or a fruit salad topped with flaked almonds
– a no sugar yoghurt (low fat dairy or coconut)
– a boiled egg
– some left over grilled chicken from dinner the night before
