Dr Roti Balogun

Prior to this, he was the Head of HR for GE Africa leading the overall people strategy and operations for the company across its portfolio of businesses with 3000+ employees across 25 countries in the region. He joined GE Africa in 2016 as the Chief Talent & Learning Officer transitioning from his role as the Chief Learning Officer for Ericsson Africa, where he spent over a decade in diverse roles spanning Engineering, Talent Management and HR Business Partnership roles across the continent.

Roti has been recognized locally and internationally as a thought leader in the areas of education and national capacity development. An Entrepreneur and Educator at heart, he serves as a board advisor and chair on various indigenous technology start-up brands and is a lifelong learner with master’s degrees in engineering (MENG), business (MBA), education (MSEd) and a doctorate (EdD) in education from the University of Pennsylvania.
